Candidates who do not have specific training in Musicology must pass a certain number of credits as complementary training. This complementary training will be organised in subjects included in the Master's Degree in Spanish and Hispano-American Music taught in the Faculty of Geography and History of the UCM or in the Master's Degree in Hispanic Music taught in the Faculty of Philosophy and Literature of the UVa or in the Master's Degrees that replace them. The Academic Committee of the Programme will establish, in each case, the course load of the complementary training, which in no case will exceed 30 ECTS credits, and will choose the subjects from among those that make up the syllabus of these master's degrees, depending on the thematic orientation of the PhD student's research project.
